Dear Customer,
Please be advised of an upcoming scheduled planned maintenance event affecting the Charlotte (CLT01) Data Center.
📅 Date: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 ⏰ Time: 12:00 AM – 4:00 AM US/Eastern 📍 Location: Raleigh, NC 🔧 Affected Services: TierPoint Portal Access ⚠️ Expected Impact: Degraded performance may occur during firewall failover testing
What’s Happening? TierPoint will perform RAL - TierPoint Internal Network Maintenance on the above-mentioned date and time which includes: TierPoint Internal Firewalls Failover Testing
What is the scope of work being performed?
TierPoint will be performing failover testing on a pair of internal network firewalls, which protect customer portal access. This failover testing will have no impact on client traffic, which does not traverse these firewalls, however Portal access may be disrupted during this maintenance.
What is the impact to your organization?
Access to TierPoint Portal will potentially be briefly impacted as routing converges while firewalls are failed over.
What is the plan should unintended issues arise?
If issues arise, TierPoint Engineers revert to pre-maintenance state and review to determine next steps.
How will I know if there are issues or when this work has been completed?
End-of-maintenance communication is not being sent at this time. Contact the EOC and reference this change if issues arise
While we have taken steps to minimize the impact associated with this activity, there may be periods of degraded Infrastructure Engineering services at various intervals during the noted timeframe.
How You’ll Be Notified: ✅ Initial Notification – Sent upon scheduling of the upcoming maintenance work. ✅ 1-Hour Reminder – Sent one hour before the maintenance window begins. ✅ Start Notification – Issued when maintenance begins. ✅ Completion Notification ("All Clear") – Sent once maintenance is complete and services are verified operational.
